Tonight while watching the Dave Chapelle Show I saw a Mercedes Benz commercial I hadn't seen before. It featured snapshots of Mercedes owners and their cars from the 1920's on. There were forty or fifty pictures and they all showed cars throughout the ages and their owners. Hippies, business people, country club types, each with their prized Mercedes Benz.
Oddly, they left the most famous Mercedes owner out of the commercial...Adolf Hitler.

Guilt by association? Maybe, but the company did make a fortune off Hitler's war and if that's not profiting from evil then I don't know what would be. Besides, I have a policy of never letting the Mercedes folks forget about their association with this guy.

Some stains just won't come out, no matter how hard you try.
